Youth, future, and new films! Gbeck Future Film Festival is a competition of original films created by filmmakers from around the world, designed to discover and support young filmmakers. The 2023 edition of the Festival is the ninth annual, and the first edition to be presented in Toronto. S3pace hosted the opening night on September 8. The winners have been announced and shown on the opening night. The annual screening and the closing screening have been presented on September 9-10.

The films have been screened and submitted from Brazil, Belarus, China, France, Iran, Italy, Poland, South Korea, Spain, Turkey, and other countries; in total 22 short films. The films are categorized as drama, documentary, animation, and they range in length from 6 to 30 minutes; all films have English-language subtitles. Each screening will last about 100 minutes in total and are themed with different topics.
